(NORTH PERTH, ON) On May 20, 2019 at approximately 9:30 p.m., a member of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Perth County detachment was on patrol and conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle with visible damage on Line 84 south of Listowel.
While the officer spoke with the driver, cannabis was observed readily available to the driver. The officer determined that the driver's ability to operate a motor vehicle was impaired. He failed a road side test and was arrested and transported to the Sebringville OPP detachment for further testing by a Drug Recognition Expert (DRE) officer.

His driver's licence was seized and a 90 Administrative Driver's Licence Suspension (ADLS) was imposed. The vehicle was towed and impounded.
He is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice, Stratford on June 10, 2019 to answer the charges.
