(THAMES CENTRE, ON) - On May 6, 2019, members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), with the assistance of the Middlesex County OPP Crime Unit, charged two individuals in relation to an animal cruelty investigation at a property located on 5000 block of Catherine Street in the Municipality of Thames Centre.
As a result of the investigation, 58-year-old Mark MARSH and 63-year-old Rees MARSH, both of Thames Centre, Ontario have been charged with the following offences pursuant to the Criminal Code (CC);
Cruelty to animals - unnecessary pain, suffering or injury - Four counts
Cause damage or injury to animal or bird - fail to provide suitable/adequate food, water, care, shelter - Four counts
The accused are scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in London, Ontario on May 29, 2019.
