(STAFFA, ON) - A driver with outstanding warrants was arrested during the evening hours of May 27, 2019 in the Municipality of West Perth.
Members of the Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) West Perth detachment responded to the report of a suspicious person on Line 21, west of Staffa.
Police responded quickly and observed a male operating a vehicle and he was identified by police as a wanted person and initiated a traffic stop.
David KUNZLE, 20-years-old, of the Municipality of West Perth was arrested and charged with:
Operate a motor vehicle while prohibited
The male is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice, Stratford on June 17, 2019 to answer the charges.
The male also had outstanding warrants with Stratford Police Service and was transported to Stratford.
The Perth County OPP reminds residents to contact police should suspicious activity be taking place in their neighbourhood.
