(TOWN OF MINTO, ON) - On Friday July 20, 2018 at approximately 4:00 a.m. Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to an armed robbery at a gas station on Highway 9, between Harriston and Clifford. A lone suspect arrived on a motorcycle and entered the gas bar brandishing a shotgun. The suspect was last seen fleeing northbound on Highway 9 towards the Village of Clifford.
As a result of the investigation Wellington County OPP Major Crime unit has charged Justin James Patrick HORRIGAN, 25-years-old of Fordwich, with Robbery with a Firearm and Disguise with Intent to Commit an Indictable Offence. He also faces charges of Breaching Probation and with Failing to comply with a Recognizance. He was held for bail.
