(MIDDLESEX CENTRE, ON) - On June 8, 2019, at approximately 11:30 p.m., members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to 9-1-1 calls from motorists, who reported that a vehicle was travelling east in the westbound lanes of Highway 402 in the Municipality of Middlesex Centre.
Officers were able to safely stop the vehicle, and no injuries resulted. Upon speaking with the driver, it was determined the driver of the vehicle was impaired. The driver was placed under arrest and transported to a Middlesex County OPP detachment for further testing.
As a result of the police investigation, Johnathan PARSONS, 25-year-old of Ingersoll, Ontario, has been charged with the following offences pursuant to the Criminal Code of Canada (CC);
Dangerous operation of a motor vehicle,
Driving while impaired - alcohol and drugs, and with;
Operation while prohibited
They are scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in London, Ontario on July 10, 2019.
