(KINCARDINE, ON) - Just after 11:00 p.m. on August 2, 2019 a member of the South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) was operating a RIDE program on Durham Street in Kincardine, Ontario where a driver was found operating a vehicle while impaired by alcohol.
The officer stopped the vehicle during the RIDE program and observed the driver showing signs of impairment and determined the driver had consumed alcohol. The driver was arrested and transported to detachment for further tests.
The male driver, David GUSE, a 53-year-old from Kincardine, Ontario, has been charged with:
Operation while impaired - blood alcohol concentration 80 plus contrary to S. 320.14(1)(b) CC
The accused is required to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice - Walkerton, on August 28, 2019 to answer to the charges.
