(SEBASTOPOL, ON) - On August 16, 2019 at approximately 3:15 p.m., members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Perth County detachment, Perth County Paramedic Services and Perth East Fire Department responded to the scene of a collision involving two motor vehicles.
The collision occurred at the intersection of Perth Road 107 at Perth Line 29, in Sebastopol in the Township of Perth East. Line 29 is controlled by a stop sign and Road 107 has the right of way.
A westbound Hyundai sedan on Line 29 was being driven by Gurwinder DHILLON, 26-years-old, of Cambridge collided with a southbound Ford pickup being driven on Road 107.
DHILLON was charged for disobey a stop sign and was issued a Provincial Offence Notice (PON).
"Drivers need to remember that a stop sign means that you must come to a complete stop and wait until all traffic is clear before entering the intersection", Acting Staff Sergeant Scott Lobb Perth County OPP operations manager.
