(MIDDLESEX CENTRE, ON) - On September 4, 2019, at approximately 5:00 a.m., members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were dispatched to a single motor vehicle collision on Adelaide Street, in the Municipality of Middlesex Centre.
Upon further investigation, police determined that the driver was impaired. The driver was arrested and transported to a police station for further testing.
As a result of the police investigation, Chase DAVIDSON-SWALES, 21-year-old of St. Thomas, Ontario was charged with Operation while impaired - alcohol and drugs, pursuant to the Criminal Code of Canada (CC).
The accused was issued a 90 day Automatic Drivers Licence Suspension (ADLS), and the vehicle was impounded for seven days. They are scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in London, Ontario on October 21, 2019.
