(GREENOCL TWP, ON) - On October 25, 2017 at 9:23 p.m., a South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer on patrol noticed a Black pick-up truck turn quickly onto Gamble Road in Greenock Township. The truck was located along Gamble Road, but the driver wasn't with the truck.
Members of the West Region OPP Emergency Response Team, OPP Canine unit, Community Street Crimes Unit and South Bruce OPP Crime unit members assisted with the search for the driver.
At 1:41 a.m. on October 26, 2017, the driver was located and arrested without incident. Twenty-eight-year old Mitchell MORRIS of Kincardine Township was charged with 2 counts of assault, 2 counts of mischief, 2 counts of possess property obtained by crime and 4 counts of possess a controlled substance. He was held in custody pending the results of a bail hearing scheduled for October 26, 2017.
