(BLUEWATER, ON) - Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers are investigating a recent break, enter and theft of fishing equipment that took place at a campground located on Keith Crescent in Bayfield.
The victim reported to police that sometime between Sunday, October 29th and Thursday, November 2, 2017 someone forced entry into two of his sheds located on his seasonal property. The door latches were pried off by the suspect(s). Once inside the sheds a large quantity of fishing equipment consisting mainly of fishing rods and downriggers were stolen.
The stolen property is estimated to be worth an estimated $5,000 to $6,000.
