(South Bruce Peninsula, ON) - On Wednesday, January 24, 2018 Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Community Street Crime Unit, with the assistance of the Tactical Rescue Unit (TRU), West Region Emergency Response Team (ERT), and West Region Canine, executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA) search warrant at a property on Frank Street in the Town of South Bruce Peninsula.
As a result of the execution of the search warrant, Police seized heroin, methamphetamine, cocaine, methylphenidate, cannabis resin, and cannabis marihuana, during their search. Police seized offence related property that consisted of drug trafficking paraphernalia. The combined estimated value of the seized controlled substances was $1,160.00.
50-year-old male, Tom TURNER, 31-year-old male, Kristopher RICHARDSON, and 28- year-old male, Keith CAMPBELL, all of the Town of South Bruce Peninsula are charged with the following:
Possession of cocaine and marihuana for the purposes of trafficking CDSA
Possession of heroin, methamphetamine, cannabis marihuana, cannabis resin, and MDMA CDSA
Campbell is charged with an additional count of possession of methylphenidate for the purposes of trafficking CDSA.
The accused parties were released on Promise to Appears, and Undertakings before officer in charge, to attend Ontario Court of Justice in Owen Sound on February 15, 2018.
