(NORTH MIDDLESEX, ON) - On February 19, 2018, Family Day Holiday, members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to break-and-enter at a grocery store on Ailsa Craig Main Street, North Middlesex.
The investigation has revealed that two (2) persons attended the business at approximately 2:30 p.m., and attempted to gain access to the interior of the business by using power tools. Culprits did not gain access and left the scene in a vehicle reported stolen to Caledon OPP Detachment.
As a result of this police investigation, 18-year-old male, Nicholas SHAVER of St. Catharines, Ontario and a 15-year-old male from Niagara Falls, Ontario have been arrested and jointly charged with Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5000 and Break-and-Enter pursuant to the Criminal Code of Canada (CCC).
