(TOWNSHIP OF WELLINGTON NORTH, ON) - On April 23, 2018 at approximately 10:15 p.m., a Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer observed two male parties outside the Mount Forest Thrift Store on Main Street South, Town of Mount Forest.
The males were observed going through property that is left there specifically to be sold by the Thrift Store. The males were arrested and a search incident to arrest located break and enter tools and a small amount of meth.
42-year-old William BURLEIGH of Mount Forest has been charged with Possession of Meth, Possession of Break in Instruments, Theft under $5000 and Fail to Comply with Probation Order.
63-year-old Wendell COX of Mount Forest has been charged with Theft Under $5000.
They are scheduled to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on May 29, 2018 to answer to the charges.
