(HALDIMAND COUNTY, ON) - The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Haldimand County Detachment is investigating a two vehicle collision that left a male seriously injured. The collision occurred at a North Shore Drive, Dunnville, Haldimand County, Ontario address.
On Monday April 30, 2018 at 7:36 a.m., OPP, Haldimand County Fire Services and Haldimand County paramedics responded to North Shore Drive near Rymer Road for a two vehicle head on collision after a passerby stopped to assist and noticed both drivers were injured and one of them was trapped inside one of the vehicles.
Haldimand County Fire Services extricated the 64-year old male from the vehicle who was then transported to a local area hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.
The male was later transported by Ornge Air Ambulance to an out of town hospital.
The male driver in the other involved vehicle was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
North Shore Drive was closed for approximately three hours while emergency crews were on scene.
