(ENGLEHART, ON) - On May 1, 2018, at approximately 8:47 p.m., members of the Temiskaming Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), stopped a four wheeler on Ninth Avenue in Englehart, Ontario. OPP spoke with the driver and a short time after, the male was placed under arrest.
The 50-year-old male driver, Robert BRADLEY of Englehart, Ontario, was charged for:
Drive with more than 80 milligrams of alcohol in blood, contrary to section 253(1)(b) of the Criminal Code (C.C.),
Drive while under suspension, contrary to section 53(1) of the Highway Traffic Act (H.T.A.),
Permit use of plate not authorized for vehicle, contrary to section 12(1)(d) of the H.T.A., and
Not properly insured, contrary to Regulation 316/17 of the H.T.A.
The four wheeler was towed from the scene and the accused was released by way of Promise to Appear (PTA). He is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice on May 22, 2018, in Haileybury, Ontario.
