(TOWNSHIP OF GEORGIAN BLUFFS, ON) - On May 1, 2018, Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a theft report after the caller had noticed several items missing from their rural property on Sideroad 6 in the Township of Georgian Bluffs.
The stolen property included a blue and yellow child-sized Suzuki dirt bike, a yellow and black 2006 Honda 500 ATV with a weed sprayer mounted on the back, a trail camera and a steel chain saw. The theft is believed to have occurred sometime between April 25th and May 1st.
Police were contacted again when, on May 2 at approximately 1:00 a.m., the property owners were working inside the barn when they observed a suspicious vehicle drive up towards the barn. The vehicle, a late model, tan coloured GMC pick-up truck, occupied by a male and a female, quickly turned around and left after realizing that someone was inside the barn.
