(ELLIOT LAKE, ON) - On May 1, 2018 at 10:43 p.m., the East Algoma Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) members received a call to check on the well-being of a male at a residence on Taylor Boulevard in the City of Elliot Lake, Ontario.
Police attended the residence and a short time later the male drove in on an All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV). A strong odour alcoholic beverage was detected emanating from his breath. He was subsequently arrested and his driver's license suspended. The ATV was also towed and impounded.
Brian FANJOY, 53 years of age, from Elliot Lake, was charged with:
Driving with more than 80 mgs of Alcohol in Blood, contrary to section 253(1)(b) of the Criminal Code (CC).
The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Elliot Lake on June 5, 2018.
