(BANCROFT, ON) - In the late evening on May 03, 2018 officers of the Bancroft Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), responded to a motor vehicle collision in a parking lot of a local restaurant in the Town of Bancroft.
Officers attended and spoke with the drivers involved and found that the driver had been consuming alcohol.
As a result of the investigation, Helene LEDUC, 76 years of Bancroft Ontario has been charged with:
Driving while ability impaired by alcohol and
Driving with more than 80mgs of alcohol in 100Ml of blood.
The driver also had the vehicle impounded for 7 days, and a 90 day licence suspension.
The accused was released on a promise to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Bancroft on June 12, 2018.
