(PORT ELGIN, ON) - On Thursday, May 4, 2018 members of Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Grey-Bruce and Huron-Perth Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU), as well as members from Saugeen Shores Police Service, executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA) search warrant at a property on Green Street in the Town of Port Elgin.
As a result of the execution of the search warrant, police seized methamphetamine, cocaine and cannabis marihuana. The combined estimated value of the seized Controlled Substances is $3000. Police also seized offence related property that consisted of $645.00 cash and assorted drug paraphernalia. Three people were arrested and charged.
49-year-old male, Jamie CAMPBELL of Port Elgin is charged with:
Possession of methamphetamine for purposes of trafficking 5(2)Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA)
Possession of cannabis marihuana 4(1)CDSA
Two counts of Fail to Comply with Recognizance 145(3) Criminal Code of Canada (CC)
31-year-old female, Lisa GORESKI of Port Elgin is charged with:
Possession of methamphetamine for purposes of trafficking 5(2)CDSA
Possession of cocaine 4(1)CDSA
Possession of cannabis marihuana 4(1)CDSA
43-year-old male, Richard PAWLIKOWSKI of Central Huron is charged with:
Possession of methamphetamine for purposes of trafficking 5(2)CDSA
Possession of cannabis marihuana 4(1)CDSA
Two counts of Fail to Comply with Undertaking 145(5.1) CC
The accused parties were taken for bail hearings at Ontario Court of Justice in Walkerton on May 3, 2018.
