(GRAND VALLEY, ON) - On Saturday May 5, 2018 at 7:22 pm Dufferin OPP were dispatched to a property damage collision on Amaranth Street near Main Street in Town of Grand Valley.
Upon arrival police determined that a female driver in vehicle had consumed an alcoholic beverage. The driver was administered a Roadside Test and registered a fail.
She was immediately arrested for Operate Motor Vehicle over 80 mgs of alcohol read her charter rights and taken to Dufferin OPP Detachment for breath test
As a result of a police investigation the driver, 69 year old Gladys Mary HOUSE of Grand Valley, is charged with the following offences
Impaired Driving contrary to section 235(1)(a) of the Criminal Code of Canada
Driving with More Than 80 mg of Alcohol in 100 ml of Blood contrary to section 253(1) (b) of the Criminal Code of Canada.
Her vehicle was impounded and driver's license was suspended for 90 days under the ADLS Program.
She was released on a Promise to Appear returnable to Tuesday May 22, 2018 in Orangeville Ontario Court of Justice
