(LONDON, ON) - On April 24, 2018, at approximately 3:30 a.m., a member of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) was on patrol on Oxford Street East, City of London.
The officer observed a vehicle a vehicle commit a traffic offence and a traffic stop was initiated. The officer determined that the 30-year-old, male, driver of the vehicle had consumed alcohol. The driver was arrested and transported to a police station for further testing.
As a result of the police investigation, Joseph ELLIOT, of Ingersoll, Ontario has been charged with Driving While Ability Impaired and Driving with More than 80 mgs. of Alcohol in Blood, pursuant to the Criminal Code of Canada (CC).
The accused is scheduled to appear in a London court room on May 29, 2018 to answer to the charges.
