(MIDDLESEX CENTRE, ON) - On May 5, 2018, at approximately 11:00 p.m., a member of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) was on general patrol in the Village of Poplar Hill, Municipality of Middlesex Centre. The officer observed a vehicle driven erratically and initiated a traffic stop.
The officer determined that the 42-year-old, male, driver of the vehicle had consumed alcohol. The driver was arrested and transported to a police station for further testing.
As a result of the police investigation, David CAPP, of London, Ontario has been charged with Driving While Impaired, Driving with More than 80 mgs. of Alcohol in Blood, and Take Motor Vehicle Without Consent pursuant to the Criminal Code of Canada (CC). The accused is also facing a charge of Driving While Under Suspension pursuant to the Highway Traffic Act.
The accused is scheduled to appear in a London court room on June 18, 2018 to answer to the charge.
