(Selwyn Township, ON) - Members of the OPP Community Street Crime Unit and Peterborough County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) executed a search warrant April 27, 2018 at an island on Katchewanooka Lake near Young's Point.
Officers seized a substantial amount of suspected fentanyl, methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. Three young children located in the residence were taken into the care of the Children's Aids Society.
Kimberly BASSANI (age 37) of Young's Point, Ontario was arrested and charged with:
Possession of a schedule I controlled substance (Fentanyl)
Production of a Schedule II controlled substance (Methamphetamine)
Dana FITZGERALD (age 24) of Waterloo, Ontario was arrested and charged with:
Possession of a schedule I controlled substance (Fentanyl)
Production of a Schedule II controlled substance (Methamphetamine)
Dylan GOUGH (age 25) of Young's Point, Ontario was arrested and charged with:
Possession of a schedule I controlled substance (Fentanyl)
Production of a Schedule II controlled substance (Methamphetamine)
Kristy MIESKE (age 29) of Young's Point, Ontario was arrested and charged with:
Possession of a schedule I controlled substance (Fentanyl)
Production of a Schedule II controlled substance (Methamphetamine)
The accused are scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Peterborough, Ontario on May 31, 2018.
