(TOWN OF ST. MARYS, ON) - On Wednesday, the 9th of May, 2018, the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Huron-Perth Community Street Crime Unit, with the assistance of the Grey Bruce Community Street Crime Unit, executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act Search Warrant at an apartment on Water Street, in the Town of St. Marys.
As a result of the execution of the search warrant, police seized methamphetamine and cocaine. The combined estimated street value of the seized Controlled Substances is $400.00.
Police also seized offence related property that consisted of drug trafficking paraphernalia.
Thirty-three-year old Kevin CHAMBERS of the Town of St. Marys was arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine for the purposes of trafficking and possession of cocaine.
He was released from custody on a Promise to Appear and OIC Undertaking and is scheduled to appear in court at a later date.
