(COLBORNE, ON) -On May 10, 2018 at 5:12 a.m. the Northumberland Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a robbery at a business on King Street East in Colborne involving a lone male suspect who entered the store and demanded money from the clerk. He left the store with a quantity of cash. No weapon was seen and the clerk was not injured.
The male was described as Caucasian, 5 5"-5 7" (165-170cm), thin build wearing a black hoodie. An officer responding to the call located and arrested a male matching the description in a backyard of a nearby residence.
Tyler John THYNNE age 22 of Colborne, Ontario is charged with Robbery, Fail to Comply with Recognizance and Fail to Comply with Probation Order. He was held for a bail hearing scheduled later today.
