(ASHFIELD-COLBORNE-WAWANOSH, ON) - Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers arrested two parties earlier this week following a tip about a suspiciously parked vehicle.
Just after 7:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 16, 2018 Huron OPP members received a call about a Dodge Ram pickup truck that was parked suspiciously behind some barns on a farm property located on Lanesville Line. The caller had a feeling the vehicle didn't belong on the property and requested police to check it out.
Shortly thereafter, police arrived on scene and located the suspect vehicle and two occupants with the vehicle. Upon speaking with them it was determined the female was wanted by Huron OPP on an outstanding warrant so she was placed under arrest and searched. As a result of the search police found the female and male to both be in possession of break-in tools and morphine.
Krystal GIBSON, 29 years of age from Kincardine & Gerald KENNEDY, 34 years of age from Oshawa have both been charged with Possession of Break-in Tools and Possession of a Schedule I Drug (Morphine). They have since been released from custody with a court appearance scheduled for June 11, 2018 at the Ontario Court of Justice - Goderich.
