(LEEDS, ON.) - Officers of the Leeds and Thousand Islands detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police located another stunt driver over the weekend.
On Saturday May 26th at approximately 6:00pm an officer was patrolling on County Road 2, Front of Yonge Township when an eastbound vehicle was observed travelling at a high rate of speed. The driver was found to be driving in excess of 70 kilometers an hour.
As a result of the investigation, a 40 year old male from Brockville found his vehicle towed and impounded for 7 days. The BMW he was "test driving" belonged to his employer.
He is scheduled to appear at Brockville Provincial Offences Court in June to answer to a stunt driving charge.
