(SELWYN TOWNSHIP, ON) - Members of the Peterborough County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) conducted a traffic stop on Selwyn Road just before 10:00 pm on Thursday, June 28, 2018. The female driver was found to be under the influence of alcohol.
Kimberlyn KNOTT (age 22) of Selwyn, Ontario was arrested and charged with:
Driving with more than 80mg of alcohol in 100ml of blood
Impaired driving
Obstruct peace officer
3 counts of assault peace officer
Drive motor vehicle-no licence
The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Peterborough, Ontario on July 26, 2018.
