(LITTLE CURRENT, ON) - On Saturday June 30, 2018 an officer from the Manitoulin-Espanola Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) was on patrol of Myles Side Road in Sandfield Township, Ontario.
At approximately 6:33 p.m., the officer conducted a traffic stop. An investigation revealed that the driver had been consuming alcoholic beverages.
As a result, Darrell JAMES, age 43, of Carnarvon Township, Ontario has been charged with:
Driving With Over 80 mg of Alcohol in Blood, contrary to section 253(1)(b) of the Criminal Code.
The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Gore Bay, Ontario on August 14, 2018.
