(MIDDLESEX CENTRE, ON) - On July 3, 2018 at approximately 5:30 p.m., members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to the sighting of a stolen vehicle on Ilderton Road, Middlesex Centre.
Officers attended the area and observed the suspect vehicle at a private residence. The vehicle fled the area at a high rate of speed. A 25-year-old male resident of said property was taken into custody.
The vehicle was later reported abandoned by a citizen in the Village of Arva.
The Middlesex OPP with the assistance of the London Police Service (LPS) Canine Unit located the 26-year-old male driver of the vehicle.
As a result, 26-year-old, Cyle VANBYNEN of London, Ontario has been charged with the following offences pursuant to the Criminal Code of Canada;
Dangerous Operation of Motor Vehicle
Driving while Disqualified - court order
Possession Property Obtained by Crime Over $5,000
Possession Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000
Fail to Comply with Probation Order
25-year-old, Donald MACMILLAN of Middlesex Centre, Ontario has been charged with the following offences pursuant to the Criminal Code of Canada;

The accused were held in custody and appeared in a London court room on July 4, 2018 to answer to the charges.
The recovered vehicle, a 2018 full size pick-up truck had been reported stolen to the Huron County OPP Detachment on June 27, 2018. The keys and other valuables were left inside the vehicle overnight.
"Leaving unlocked vehicles with valuables and keys inside for the sake of convenience is unacceptable. Stolen vehicles are often used in serious crimes and pose a risk to public and officer safety. Please remove all valuables, lock your vehicle and pocket the keys" - Says Constable Max Gomez, Middlesex County OPP.
