(SOUTH HURON, ON) - A 54-year-old Bracebridge man will have to return to Huron County later this summer to answer to a pair of charges following his arrest earlier this week.
On Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at approximately 11:39 p.m. Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers observed a sports utility vehicle travelling northbound on Airport Line with an unreadable licence plate.
Upon stopping the motor vehicle, officers spoke with the male driver and made some checks on the status of his driver's licence. Further investigation revealed the driver held a suspended driver's licence, as well, it was learned the driver was a prohibited driver due to previous criminal charges.
The male driver, 54-year-old Daniel STANLEY from Bracebridge was arrested and charged with Operation While Disqualified and Drive While Under Suspension. He has since been released from custody with a court appearance scheduled for August 23, 2018 at the Ontario Court of Justice - Exeter.
