During the week of July 3, 2018, to July 8, 2018 there were 107 calls for service, including the Whitney Detachment.
There were fourteen motor vehicle collisions, six were animal related.
There were four domestic dispute calls for service, and no domestic disputes resulting in criminal code charges.
On Saturday July 7, 2018 at approximately 11:17 pm, members of the Killaloe OPP detachment responded to a disturbance on Kiwita Inamo, Golden Lake Ontario. As a result of police investigation, 25 yr. old Niomy HOGAN of Renfrew was arrested and charged with Assault, contrary to the Criminal Code. The accused was released on a Promise to Appear with a court date of Wednesday July 25, 2018 at 9:30 am, Ontario Court of Justice, Killaloe.
On Tuesday July 3, 2018 at approximately 8:22 pm, Killaloe OPP Constable John Thurston and Sgt. Yvan Pelletier responded to a single vehicle roll over collision involving a side by side off road vehicle on Mud Lake Road, Bonnechere Valley Twp. As a result pf police investigation, a 19 yr. old male from Pembroke has been charged with Careless Driving, Drive With Passenger Fail to Wear Seatbelt, and Driver Fail To Wear Seatbelt, contrary to the Highway Traffic Act. The 15 yr. old female passenger from Killaloe was transported to hospital by ambulance with minor injuries. The defendant was issued Provincial Offence Act notices.
