(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) - The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Detachment is reminding the public to protect their property and valuables after police investigated an incident at a St James Street, Waterford, Norfolk County address.
On Sunday, July 15, 2018 at approximately 7:09 p.m., police received a report of a mischief.
Through the course of investigation, it was determined that between 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 15, 2018, unknowns located an open window on a parked motor vehicle. Unknowns then entered the vehicle and destroyed the interior by using a sharp object.
The OPP are continuing to investigate and are seeking the public's assistance with this investigation. If anyone has any information, they are being asked to contact the Norfolk County OPP detachment at 1-888-310-1122.
