(MIDDLESEX CENTRE, ON) - On July 17, 2018, at approximately 11:00 a.m., members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a residential break, enter in progress, at a residence on Thirteen Mile Road.
The complainant reported that a person trespassed on the property and rang the doorbell. The complainant heard a noise from the back for the property and realized that someone had attempted to enter the home by breaching the back door. The home owner called 9-1-1.
A white minivan was observed leaving the property at a high rate of speed.
Police arrived on the property within 9 (nine) minutes of the 9-1-1 call and conducted patrols in the area. The vehicle was not located. The suspect(s) and home owner had no contact. The home was not entered and nothing was stolen.
Police remind the public to report any suspicious vehicles and persons to police immediately.
