(GRAVENHURST, ON) - On Saturday July 21, 2018 at 4:45 p.m. Bracebridge Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers were conducting a RIDE check on John Street at Ridge Road in Gravenhurst. Interaction with the driver of a vehicle gave rise to the suspicion that he was under the influence of alcohol.
As a result of their investigation, police arrested and charged 44 year-old Adam HARRIS of Gravenhurst, ON with Having Over 80 mg of Alcohol per 100 mL Blood CC 253(1)(b). The accused received an immediate 90 day driver's licence suspension and further had his vehicle towed and impounded. He will appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Bracebridge on August 14, 2018 to answer to his charge.
