(NORTH KAWARTHA TOWNSHIP, ON) - Members of the Peterborough County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) and emergency crews were called to assist at a serious collision on County Road 504 east of Apsley shortly after 11:00pm on Saturday, July 21, 2018.
A westbound pickup truck lost control and left the roadway. The pickup truck crashed through the guard wire and collided with a large rock cut. The driver of the pickup truck did not survive the collision. David HALL (age 52) of Petawawa, Ontario has been identified as the deceased.
County Road 504 east of Jack Lake Road was closed for several hours while OPP members trained in collision reconstruction measured and documented the scene. The circumstances surrounding this collision remain under investigation.
