(HALDIMAND COUNTY, ON) - The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Haldimand County Detachment has charged a 27-year-old female with impaired driving following a single vehicle collision investigation at a Highway 3, Dunnville, Haldimand County, Ontario address.
On Tuesday July 25, 2018 at 1:45 a.m., OPP, Haldimand County Fire Services and Haldimand County paramedics responded to Highway 3 near Crown Road after a female reported she had been involved in a collision.
The female suffered minor injuries and was treated at the scene by paramedics.
While speaking with the female driver, signs of impairment were detected and the driver was subsequently arrested.
OPP has charged 27-year-old Sineade HIRST of Port Colborne, Ontario with:
Impaired operation of a motor vehicle
Driving a motor vehicle with more than 80 milligrams of alcohol in blood
Her driver's licence was automatically suspended for 90 days and the vehicle was impounded.
She is to appear in Provincial Court Cayuga at a later date to answer to the charges.
