(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) - The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Detachment investigated an incident at a Byerlay Side Road, Middleton, Norfolk County address.
On Friday, August 3, 2018 at approximately 7:58 p.m., OPP, Norfolk County Fire Department and Paramedic Services responded to a report of a plane crash.
Through the course of the investigation, it was determined that a 72-year-old male pilot of Elgin County was landing his single engine Cessna plane when the plane crashed and flipped over upon landing.
As a result, the pilot suffered only minor injuries and was attended to by Paramedics at the scene.
The Transportation Safety Board was notified and will continue the investigation.
