(HURON EAST, ON) - Members from the Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Detachment along with investigators from the OPP West Region Technical Collision Investigation (TCI) Team remain on scene of a single motor vehicle crash that took place near Seaforth yesterday evening.
Shortly after 8:16 p.m. Huron OPP officers along with Huron County Paramedic Services responded to the crash scene located on North Line (Huron County Road 12) between Bridge Road and Hydro Line Road. The preliminary investigation indicates the driver/lone occupant of a pickup truck was travelling southbound on North Line when the driver lost control of his vehicle and left the roadway. The vehicle subsequently rolled and the driver was ejected from the vehicle.
The driver, 36-year-old Fitzmark JACKSON from Seaforth was transported to hospital by air ambulance. He remains in hospital with life-threatening injuries.
North Line remains closed between Bridge Road and Hydro Line Road, please take an alternate route to avoid delays.
