(DUTTON, ON) - The Elgin County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a suspicious vehicle call around 5:20 a.m. on August 7, 2018 in the area of Talbot Line between Coyne Road and Dunborough Road.
Officers were able to locate this vehicle in the area of Wallacetown Ontario shortly after the call. As a result of the investigation two people were arrested without incident.
Tonya WRIGHT age 33-years-old of Blenheim Ontario is charged with:
- Possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000 contrary to section 354(1)(a) of the Criminal Code
- Trespassing at night contrary to section 177 of the Criminal Code
- Driving while disqualified contrary to section 259(4) of the Criminal Code
Fredrick ROSE age 25-years-old of Blenheim Ontario is charged with:
- Possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000 contrary to section 354(1)(a) of the Criminal Code
- Trespassing at night contrary to section 177 of the Criminal Code
- Fail to comply with probation order contrary to section 733.1(1) of the Criminal Code
Both accused were later released and now have to appear in St. Thomas Criminal Court on September 11, 2018.
