(PERTH SOUTH, ON) - Members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Perth County detachment, Perth County Paramedic Services and St. Marys Fire Department attended the scene of a motor vehicle collision on October 7, 2018 which sent one person to hospital, and resulted in criminal charges against another.
The two motor vehicle collision occurred shortly before 10:00 p.m. at the intersection of Perth Road 130 and Perth Line in the Township of Perth South. One occupant was transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Two other occupants were located shortly thereafter by police and transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Twenty-six-year-old Kristin JACKSON of Collingwood was arrested and charged with the following offences:
Drive while ability impaired cause bodily harm;
Exceed 80 milligrams blood alcohol content-motor vehicle-cause accident with bodily harm;
Possession of a schedule II substance-cannabis marihuana; and
Fail to remain
She was later released on a Promise to Appear and is scheduled to appear in court at a later date to speak to the charges. The intersection was temporarily closed while emergency responders were on scene.
