(HURON, ON) -An Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer from Huron County has been issued an offence notice under the Provincial Offences Act after a collision in Ashfield-Colborne-Wawanosh Township on October 4, 2018.
The officer was operating a fully marked OPP cruiser travelling on Mid Huron Beach Road when it left the roadway and struck a tree.
The officer did not sustain any injuries as a result of the collision nor were there any other vehicles involved in the collision.
Provincial Constable Megan MCDOUGALL, a one year member, of the Huron County OPP Detachment has been charged with Careless Driving under the Highway Traffic Act.
