(MIDDLESEX CENTRE, ON) - On October 30, 2018, members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to an armed robbery to a variety store on Longwoods Road, Village of Delaware.
The investigation revealed that two (2) suspects attended the business shortly after 7:00 p.m., in a stolen pick-up truck. A male exited the vehicle and robbed the store while brandishing a weapon. The suspect fled in the awaiting vehicle.
The suspect stole an undisclosed amount of cash. The store attendant was not injured.
Suspect is described as male, wearing a heavy black coat, with camouflage sleeves and a hood drawn tightly around his face.
The Middlesex County OPP Crime Unit has taken over the investigation.
