(BROCKTON, ON) - Just before 10:00 p.m. on November 17, 2018 members of the South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) attended a single motor vehicle collision on Bruce Road 1 in the Municipality of Brockton.
When officers arrived on scene they observed the driver showing signs of impairment and determined the driver had consumed alcohol. The driver was arrested and transported to detachment for further tests.
The male driver, Christopher THOMAS, a 33-year-old from Kincardine, Ontario, has been charged with impaired driving, contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.
The accused is required to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice - Walkerton, on December 12, 2018 to answer to the charges. His driver's licence was suspended for an automatic 90 days and his vehicle was impounded for seven days.
