(THAMES CENTRE, ON) - On December 8, 2018, at approximately 03:00 a.m., members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) conducted a traffic stop on Canterbury Drive the Municipality of Thames Centre.
Upon further investigation, police determined that the 18-year-old driver of the motor vehicle had consumed alcohol. The officer demanded that the driver provide a road-side breath sample and the driver registered a "FAIL". The driver was arrested and transported to a police station for further testing.
As a result of the police investigation, Joshua BARBER-NEVE, of Thames Centre was charged with Driving with More than 80 mgs. of Alcohol in Blood, pursuant to the Criminal Code of Canada (CC).
The accused is scheduled to appear in a London court room on January 7, 2019.
