(NORTH MIDDLESEX, ON) - On December 3, 2018 members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report from a citizen that they had a series of cheques stolen and the cheques had since been cashed.
Further information obtained revealed to police that the complainant and suspect were known to each other.
As a result of the investigation, police have charged a 24-year-old male, Mathew VAN HOOYDONK with the following offences pursuant to the Criminal Code (CC);
Theft under $5000
Use, deals, acts on forged document
The accused is scheduled to appear in court January 8, 2019.
