Section of Highway 21 North Remains Closed, All Others Now Open
(HURON COUNTY, ON) - Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) would like to remind motorists to take care on their travels today. Although the weather and road conditions have significantly improved, motorists are reminded to always be alert and cautious of changing conditions.
As of 9:15 a.m. the only roadway that remains closed in Huron County is a section of Bluewater Veteran's Highway (Highway 21) between Blyth Road (County #25) and Amberley Road (County #86). Plow operators are working on this roadway however sections of the road remain impassable.
Motorists are reminded to respect the road closure signs that are in place. Driving on a closed roadway is an offence under the Highway Traffic Act (HTA) that carries a $110 fine and three demerit points upon conviction.
