(MONKTON, ON) - A joint investigation involving members of the Perth County and Huron County detachments of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), is continuing related to the theft of 2 Sea-Doo model personal watercrafts and a trailer from a rural residence on Road 168, near Monkton. The theft occurred sometime on May 11, 2019.
The 2 Sea-Doo's and the trailer were recovered later the same day near Brussels when a proposed buyer became suspicious and reported the transaction to Police.
Karen ALBRECHT, 33-years-old, of Huron East was arrested and charged with;
Trafficking in property obtained by crime
Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime over $5000
Fail to Comply with Probation Order
The 2 Sea-Doo's and the trailer have been returned to their owner.
