(CENTRAL HURON, ON) - Members of the Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Crime Unit, under the direction of Detective Inspector Randy Gaynor, OPP Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB), have laid additional charges against two accused in connection with a recent death investigation.
On May 26, 2019, members of Huron County OPP and Huron County Paramedic Services responded to a residence on Cut Line Road in the Municipality of Central Huron to assist a male found in medical distress.
David SPIES, 42-years-old of Central Huron was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Following further investigation, Kayla FIELD, 27-years-old of Central Huron and Brandon WEITZEL, 28-years old of Goderich have both been charged with Manslaughter.
Both accused remain in custody with court appearances scheduled for June 7, 2019, at the Ontario Court of Justice - Goderich.
