(HURON-KINLOSS TWP, ON) - On August 4, 2019 just before 8:00 p.m. a member of the South Bruce Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) was conducting speed enforcement on Bruce Road 1 in Huron-Kinloss, when a vehicle was observed travelling at a high rate of speed.
The officer confirmed his visual observations with a RADAR device and was able to obtain a speed measurement of the racing vehicle. The vehicle was travelling more than 165 km/hr in a posted 80 km/hr zone.
The driver Bailey STROEDER-MACQUARRIE, 18-years-old, of Brockton has been charged with "Drive a Motor Vehicle -Perform a Stunt (Speeding in Excess of 50 km/h)" resulting in a seven day driver's license suspension and a seven day vehicle impoundment.
